Spend a Summer Day 2008

The Centre County Chapter is again supporting the Penn State Admissions Office's Spend A Summer Day (SASD) program. The SASD program enables parents and prospective students to see the campus, meet with representatives from the various colleges, and learn about the admissions process. Our alumni volunteers greet the visitors when they arrive and provide a friendly face, directions, information, and encouragement at locations around campus during the day. Last year over 11,000 visitors came to the campus during the six-day program and almost 100 alumni volunteers participated.
