surgeon.

WELCOME BOOTH
INFORMATION
The Welcome Booth received close to six thousand dollars in
donations for game day football buttons during the
past two football seasons.Many of our regular
contributors are looking for older buttons for
which they will give a donation. If you have
buttons which predate the year 2000, please
consider donating them to the chapter. Don

Reminder:
The current
CCCPSAA membership year expires at the end of
June. We encourage you to renew!
New members are
always welcome! Membership in the Penn State
Alumni Association is not required (but is
encouraged) to join the Centre County Chapter.
Dues are the lowest of any alumni group in the
country: $20/single and $25/couple. The
membership lasts from July 1 through June 30.

Spend A Summer Day
2010
The
Centre County Chapter is again
supporting the Penn State Admissions Office's
Spend A Summer Day (SASD) program. The SASD
program enables parents and prospective students
to see the campus, meet with representatives
from the various colleges, and learn about the
admissions process. Our alumni volunteers greet
the visitors when they arrive and provide a
friendly face, directions, information, and
encouragement at locations around campus during
the day. Last year over 11,000 visitors came to
the campus during the six-day program and 120
alumni volunteers participated.
The
dates for the 2010 SASD program are July 26, 28
and 30, August 2, 4, and 6. A letter with the
details and a sign-up form will be sent to all
CCCPSAA members in early June. If you want more

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
CLEAN-UP:
The next scheduled cleanup
will be July 6th
2010
(day before the Arts
Festival). There will be a 9:00 am and a 5:30
pm start time. You may
choose one or both times. Volunteers may park at
the State College Assembly of
God Church.
Please park in the lower
area closest to the
road.
